Understanding your KPIs.

The Reports tab at /dashboard/?v=reports gives you a live view of how your document collection is performing across all your requests. Three headline numbers tell you most of what you need to know at a glance.

Collection Rate

The percentage of required document items that were successfully collected before the request was closed. A rate above 85% is strong. Below 70% usually signals one of three problems: unclear item names, no deadline set, or a reminder sequence that's too infrequent.

Average Time to Completion

How long it typically takes a client to upload all required documents after receiving the request link. Measured in calendar days. Use this to set realistic deadlines and plan your matter timelines. If the average is higher than you expected, look at the item-level breakdown to see which documents take longest.

Open Requests

The count of requests that are currently active — sent, with at least one item outstanding. This is your active workload. Clicking into this number takes you directly to the filtered Requests list showing only open items.

Below the summary: the request breakdown

Scrolling down from the three headline numbers shows a table of all requests from the selected time period. Each row shows:

  • Request name and client email
  • Items collected vs. total
  • Days to completion (or days open if still active)
  • Whether a deadline was set
  • Which items were most commonly incomplete (for completed requests)

Date range

Use the date range filter at the top of the Reports view to look at a specific period — the last 7 days, last 30 days, last 90 days, or a custom range. Metrics update instantly when you change the range.
